This page describes how GrandPA, operated by DUOLIKE AS, collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

Information We Collect

When you purchase a license, we collect the email address used at checkout so we can issue and, if needed, re-send your license key. When you activate GrandPA on a machine, the app sends a one-way hashed identifier for that machine (not any other device or personal information) so we can enforce the seat limit on your license and check it periodically.

GrandPA itself does not collect analytics, telemetry, or usage data — the app only talks to our license server to check trial usage and license validity.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your payment, collects any tax due, and handles your card details directly — we never see or store your payment card information. See Paddle's Privacy Policy for how they handle your data.

Infrastructure

Our license server and website are hosted with Hetzner in the EU. License keys, email addresses, and hashed machine identifiers are stored there.

Email Delivery

Transactional emails — sending you your license key, or a resend if you ask us to look one up by email — are delivered through Postmark. We do not use your email address for marketing.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to issue, deliver, and support your license. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the processors named above.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to this page.
